Hurricane Earl goes close to US east
coast.
The category-four storm is forming winds of
215km/h (135mph).
People have been warned to prepare for
evacuations.
Forecasters at the National Hurricane
Center in Miami say they believe the hurricane to turn north
and then run parallel to the US east coast.
On Monday, the hurricane battered the northeastern
Caribbean islands and Puerto Rico, causing power cuts and
flooding in the French islands like Saint Martin.
Earl is being closely pursued by
another Tropical Storm called Fiona,
with winds of up to 65km/h.
